Terms of Service

1. The service

AEOquest measures and helps improve how brands appear in AI answer engines, and provides related diagnosis, content generation, and revenue-attribution features. Features vary by plan as described on the pricing page. We may improve or modify the service over time; we will not materially reduce the core functionality of your paid plan during a subscription term without notice.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account and workspace. Notify us immediately at dineshleaf@gmail.com of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and taxes

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Razorpay (customers billed in INR) or PayPal (international customers). Prices are exclusive of taxes; GST, VAT, or other applicable taxes are added at checkout or invoiced as required by law.

Usage-based overages, where applicable to your plan, are metered and charged in arrears. If a payment fails we may retry it and notify you; continued non-payment may lead to suspension of paid features until the balance is settled.

4. Free plans and trials

Free tiers and trials are provided as-is, may be subject to usage limits, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time. At the end of a trial, access to paid features stops unless you subscribe.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. Payments are non-refundable once processed (AI/LLM resources are consumed immediately when the service runs), except as required by law or for billing errors on our side — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy at aeoquest.com/refund.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to violate any law, third-party terms (including those of measured AI engines), or the rights of others.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or circumvent authentication, rate limits, or tenant isolation.
• Resell or provide the service to third parties except as permitted by an agency or reseller plan.
• Upload malicious code, or use the service to generate or distribute unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content.
• Access the service to build a competing product, or scrape it by automated means outside the documented API.

7. Your data and our IP

You retain all rights to the data and content you submit ("Customer Data") and grant us a license to process it solely to provide the service. Reports and content generated for you belong to you. The AEOquest software, models, scoring methodologies, and branding remain our property; no rights are granted except as expressly stated. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve the service.

8. Third-party services

The service interoperates with third-party platforms (AI answer engines, Google Analytics 4, payment processors, and others). Their availability and terms are outside our control; measurement results depend on those platforms and may change as they do. Connecting an integration authorizes us to access it on your behalf as configured.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Visibility scores, diagnoses, and generated content are informational; we do not guarantee specific rankings, mentions, or revenue outcomes.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenues. Our total aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your Customer Data, your use of the service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or use that risks harm to the service or others, with notice where practicable. Upon termination your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including payment obligations, IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive. You may export your data before account deletion; see the Privacy Policy for retention.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts at the proprietor’s place of business in India have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
