Add competitors to your brand set

Track the brands AI engines mention alongside yours so share of voice and head-to-head comparisons have something to compare against.

AI answers are competitive: engines typically name two to five brands per response. Adding competitors tells AEOquest which other names to count, so your share of voice and win/loss numbers reflect your actual market.

Add a competitor

  1. Open Brands & Competitors in the sidebar (Discover section).
  2. Click "+ Add brand".
  3. Enter the competitor's name, their domains, and any aliases (abbreviations, former names, common misspellings).
  4. Leave "This is my brand" unchecked — that toggle marks your own brand only.
  5. Save. The competitor is included from the next run onward.

Reading the brand cards

Each brand card shows its latest visibility score, so you can see at a glance who the engines favor. Your owned brand is badged; competitors appear alongside for comparison.
